Privacy Policy

Your privacy — and your patients' — matters. This policy explains how Cladiv handles personal and patient information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Last updated: 6 July 2026

Overview

Cladiv provides meal planning and nutrition management software for registered dietitians and clinical nutrition professionals. We take the privacy and security of personal and patient information seriously, and we handle it in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Cladiv, we may collect:

  • Account information — your name, email address, practice details, and billing information.
  • Patient information you enter — clinical and dietary details required to generate meal plans and assessments. Patients are referenced using anonymised IDs rather than plaintext identifiers wherever possible.
  • Usage information — how you interact with the product, collected to improve reliability and features.
  • Technical information — device, browser, and log data collected automatically when you use the service.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Cladiv service.
  • Generate meal plans, clinical calculations, and assessment summaries.
  • Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and product updates.
  • Improve the security, performance, and functionality of the product.
  • Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

How we protect information

We apply privacy-first safeguards designed for clinical practice, including encrypted data storage, encryption in transit, anonymised patient IDs, role-based access controls, and audit trails. Access to information is limited to what is necessary to operate and support the service.

Data retention and your choices

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. If you cancel your subscription, you will be able to export your data and patient reports before your access ends.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party providers to help operate Cladiv — for example, hosting, analytics, and payment processing. These providers only process information as needed to perform their services and are bound by appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
